SEAN
DIGIORGIO
Sean DiGiorgio is a Theatre and Film Artist based in the DMV area. He is currently earning his B.A. in Theatre Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with a focus on directing. His work is grounded in a craving to understand all aspects of production.
As a multifaceted artist, Sean's experience spans stage and screen. In 2025, Sean directed Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express at the Milburn Stone Theatre, I'll Follow Tomorrow by Jerrod Jordhal, and assistant directed in the darkest forest at UMBC. In Film, Sean showed his short-film he doesn't bite at the AwesomeCon Film Festival in Washington D.C. and the Maryland Internation Film Festival. More recently, Sean's Film and Theatre work have begun to merge as he has collaborated with a variety of Baltimore Theatre Companies, such as The Voxel, Submersive Productions, and UMBC. In January of 2025, Sean received a Certificate of Recognition from The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) for his direction of the staged reading take me back by Tyler Rossi.

Sean is passionate about crafting theatrical and film experiences that feel visually rich, emotionally immediate, and rhythmically precise. Whether staging a new play or shooting a short film, his goal is to blend the cinematic and the theatrical creating work that lingers in the imagination like a vivid scene from a movie.
